What engine is under the blankets, Oppo? (It’s a 1JZ, Tareim got it)
Came from Japan (kinda, it came from a company that imported it to the US)
Also, yes, the delivery guy *did* just drop it off in the driveway and leave.

LS1. Always LS1.
Don’t care, LS1.

Incorrect, though the idea was presented.

Overnight parts from Japan? He was probably exhausted.

I was more leaning towards the 1jz as I believe it’s heavier than the 2jz iirc?

Overnight (it actually only took like 4 days, surprisingly) parts from Ohio. That came from Baltimore. But originated in Japan. So... close?

Either that or 7mgte, just noticed the mk3 supra with the high front due to lack of engine.

Hehe, it’s a 1JZ going into said Supra. The original, non-turbo 7m blew a head gasket, was repaired, and is now just going to sit until we find a use for it.

No, it’s an LS1. Schoedingers LS1.

Missed opportunity. Should’ve been an LS1.

35 rotor Supra would certainly be interesting.

Is he going to what I think he’s going to do with it? ( put it in the Supra )

I still have a 924 with the Audi engine....
...that’s getting the turbos from this 1JZ. Because he’s going big, single-turbo.

Considering an LS3 weighs 450lbs is far more durable and has a higher power potential, why not go LS for a drift car?

Dunno, but probably because everyone and their mother has done an LS drift car. Plus it would require even more fabrication, since the MK3 came with a 1JZ, but not an LS3. And the 1JZ and LS3 are both very durable engines.

Nah, you put a 7M in an A60 because there are a billion of them from people doing JZ swaps on their A70s.

Now that would have been crazy, but there’s a guy doing an ITB build with one of those in a Corona that just makes me drool.
